Rare vase in a hard-to-find glaze! This gorgeous Royal Haeger lime peel vase features a bulbous base with elongated neck -- a perfect bud vase or cabinet piece. During the 1970s, Haeger produced some unique glazes that are highly collectible today. One of the rarest and most beautiful is the "peel" or volcanic glaze, developed by Alrun Guest, who worked for Haeger during the 70s. Haeger produced several different shapes in this unique glaze, and created them in orange peel, lemon peel and lime peel. The orange is the easiest to find, although it is quite rare also. The lemon and lime are extremely difficult to find, especially in mint condition such as this. The texture is wonderful, the colorations rich and dense. This is a substantial vase, measuring 10" tall and about 4-1/2" across the bulbous portion. It still retains a portion of the original Haeger felt furniture protector label on the bottom (reads Royal Haeger USA). Offered at no reserve. Shipping will be $12.50 to street addresses within continental U.S. and includes insurance. I pack very securely and ship within 48 hours of receipt of payment. All my items are from a non-smoking environment.
