Please note my other auction for the matching power amplifier from Hafler. HAFLER pre amplifier 1979 Audio Hall of Fame ( /hall_of_fame.htm) About 100 electronic components replaced for better sound. All audio signal wiring upgraded. This is not a "kit installed" unit, although those are fine. This took great effort and care. Totally rebuilt with new high quality audio components, updated, and greatly improved power performance. Bargain sound for its price. Lots of detail and definition only found in separates sold for thousands today. Bass is very tight and punchy from this Darlington loaded pre-amplifier. Don't let this get away. Its mate power amplifier is in my other auctions. what has been done to the pre-amplifier DH-101: Power cord replaced with polarized heavy-duty AC cord ALL internal wiring removed and upgraded to Category 6 high speed data cable (for clarity and detail transfer), except power conditioning section w it did not matter. All carbon film resistors on preamp board removed and upgraded with audiophile recommended metal film and precision resistors. This makes a huge difference in transparency.
