Hair of the Dog - Cherry Adam from the Wood 2011 This auction is for four unopened year-dated 12 oz bottles , cellared upright away from heat and light. Cherry Adam from the Wood a special release of the strong dark ale Adam , from Hair of the Dog Brewing in Portland Oregon. The base beer is a recreation of a historic beer style originally made in Dortmunder Germany, and was the first beer produced by Hair of the Dog Brewing when it opened in 1994. Dark, vinous, complex, as intriguing as an imperial stout - excellent paired with robust foods. For this very limited release, a portion of Adam is aged for two years on BFO cherries in Elijah Craig bourbon barrels.
