OK .. I am not really certain what I have here to sell .. I need to be up front about that. Each summer I collect a ton of things from a good old boy in the nearby village. His folks collected anything .. almost to the point they were hoarders .. and not that they are gone he is letting some of this and that go. Some stuff he knows about .. other stuff he doesn't. He tells me his Mom called this a 'mourning fob' and it was made with human hair. Hmmm .. maybe .. but it looks more like animal hair to me .. and then I find out there are horsehair fobs! I do not do much watch work anymore, but I have a decent loupe .. and I have been over this from one end to the other and find no markings. I do not know what the metal is .. looks 'coppery gold' ..like the photos. The three little jewels .. not sure .. they do not look fine to me by by any means .. two ruby chips and a wee pearl .. or faux pearl. I was afraid to dunk the thing in a shampoo bath and wash it. Thought occured to me to try that .. but I let it be. Bidders beware .. WYSIWYG! If you win this nad then you have it analyzed by some expert and find it is carnival crap .. you better be willing to laugh it off .. because it'll be yours for keeps.
