THIS IS FOR 3 (THREE) ROLLS, to save you money on shipping by using the Small Flat Rate Box from the Post Office. Send me a message about any other quantities you are interested in, or any other questions. I can get up to 16 rolls in a Small Flat Rate box for just $5.95 Shipping. I first bought 7 boxes of 50 rolls each (yes, $3500 worth), to look through on my time off from work during the holidays, and have had widely varied success, as far as I got. In the first box of 50 rolls, I had my best success, 3 Franklin Silver Half Dollars (90% Silver), 3 1964 Kennedy Half Dollars (also 90% Silver), and 5 Kennedy Half Dollars with 40% Silver from 1965-1970 (it was 1-1967, and 4-1968's). That was a total of 11 silver coins (6-90%, 5-40%). In the 2nd box, I only found 1 Kennedy Half, a 1968 (40% Silver). Since then, my wife has opened about a dozen more rolls as she attempts to complete a full set of Kennedy's, and found 3 more 40% (1965-1970) silvers in the 12 rolls (again, a very respectable rate of return, much like the first box, and unlike the 2nd box). However, too many other activities get in the way, and I had almost 5 boxes yet unsearched when the holidays ended (see the photos, I haven't opened 3 of the boxes yet, and a 4th was opened for one of the photos - contact me if you want more than a roll, or even a full unopened box) , and don't know when I'll ever have the time (plus it gets very tiring going through them all), so I decided to sell 3 or 4 boxes worth, and keep the rest for a rainy day's activity (NOTE: I have bought 6 more unopened boxes, as we had to open all the original boxes to meet demand for individual (and other quantities) rolls, both to provide my wife with more as she has time to try and complete her full set of Kennedy's, and since many of you are having fun with it and sometimes finding silver, and sales, and REPEAT sales are higher than expected). I figured some of you might like the fun of the hunt, and perhaps the joy of finding Silver, and getting it into private hands rather than sitting in a government vault somewhere, and that is proving to be the case. I've also started spending the non-silver Kennedys, from the rolls we opened, at stores, fast food places, etc., rather than take them to the bank. It's kind of fun putting them back into circulation. I have even handed a few out to nice little kids, like the neighbor's little boys who always want me to throw the ball to them. My wife is going through many of the other non-silver ones, trying to put full sets together, so it's a fun way for a couple of old folks (in our case) to spend an evening, but we are way over-loaded. She is also looking for more recent coins that have silver in them, that weren't intended for circulation, like from Mint Sets, etc., but somehow got into circulation. That's WAY too time consuming for me, I couldn't even get through them to check for silver from the obvious years during the holidays, too many demands on my time, even during vacation. I don't refer to them as rolls of Kennedy's, since finding the 3 Franklins. They are rolls of half dollars. Some folks have even found (saw it on YouTube) the pre-Franklin Walking Liberty's, but I didn't, as far as I got, nor have I yet heard from anyone that has bought any of these rolls that they have found a Walking Liberty yet. , and I hope you find Silver, and come back for more.
