6inch ht brown unembossed unpontiled bottle circa 1900 with pierced bubble on corner of base and most importantly a bright white near perfect label for Sam Thompson 1791 Old Monongahela Rye Whiskey, bottled by P J Conway, Pittston, PA,
label printed by Gies & Co, Buffalo, NY This same name was used by another whiskey maker in West Brownsville (off the Monongahela river near Pittsburgh). There was also a Samuel Thompson distilling bourbon whiskey in Kentucky at around this same time. A rare paper label survivor of a northeast PA distillery which used the name of a western PA distillery to market their product. Shipping costs will be quoted after purchase and are weight based to the destination zip code. I do combine multiple items into a single shipment to save on shipping costs. Please feel free to email me if you would like a quote of the exact charges prior to ordering and be sure to include your zip code.
