Hi! Thanks for your interest in my item. :)The Illinois is a hard-to-find Hall Teapot that was introduced in the early 1930's. The standard gold decoration seen on this warm yellow pot is referred to as "the Illinois" even though it was used on a few other Hall teapot shapes. As the pictures show, this beautiful warm yellow Illinois Teapot is in wonderful shape. The gold is in very good condition except for some wear on the very top of the lid's finial. The spout has a shallow sliver out of the very tip of the upper rim. View it in Pictures 4 and 5. There are no other chips or cracks.Zoom in on all of the pictures, and if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Thanks for looking and Have a lovely Day. :)
