You are bidding on (1) Hall, Jewel Tea, Autumn Leaf Butter Dish From research I have decided this is a 1/4 Pound Butter Dish - has "scalloped/ruffled" handle - not smooth. Approx. 8 3/8" long bottom plate; 6 3/4" Long Top. - Marked Superior Hall Quality Kitchenware Tested & Approved by Mary Dunbar Jewel Homemakers Institute VERY GOOD CONDITION - GREAT GOLD - In last photo I am trying to show the corner that has a little fading of the gold - not severe. This looks like it has never been used, very clean inside and out, no utensil marks. Quite a beauty! No chips, cracks or breaks. This collection belonged to her sister who bought these MANY (40+?) years ago and never used or displayed them to her knowledge . They have been packed away for a long time. Her sister gave her some of the dishes and my friend decided to sell them as she has never displayed or used them either in the MANY years she has owned them.
