We found this wonderful Hall Orange Poppy Drip-o-lator called the "Great American" style. This is the first time I have seen this pattern compete with all its original pieces. Orange Poppy was first introduced in 1933. The Poppies are orange, red, yellow with bluish centers and blue flowers. This is an 8 cup coffee pot in an Ivory color with no chips cracks or crazing. On the inside it reads For piping hot coffee pre heat with hot water. Do not place over open flame. All the aluminum is intact. During the second World War,people were asked to give their aluminum pots and accessories to the government to help build airplanes for the war effort. Consequently these dripper unit are harder to find. Hall continued to sell Orange Poppy as an open stock purchase until 1953 when it was discontinued. It was offered as a premium until 1940. It is rare to find one complete like this one.
