Hallmark Ornament 2008 Club Exclusive Canada Santas From Around the World Brand New - Never Used or Displayed FREE PRIORITY SHIPPING WITH THIS ITEM US BIDDERS DESCRIPTION: You are bidding on 1 Hallmark Ornament from 2008. You are bidding on Canada from Santas from Around The World (complement to the 2004 set). This was a Club Member Only Exclusive ornament and it was very hard to get. This would be a great addition to any Hallmark or Santa Collection. FROM THE BACK OF THE BOX: Santa's right at home in Canada--a winter wonderland right next door to the North Pole. Home to a mix of cultures, Canada is big enough to include them all in the Christmas festivities, but two of the largest groups are those with English or French backgrounds. English-speaking families open their presents on Christmas Day and serve a traditional roast turkey dinner. Francophones enjoy their gifts on Christmas Eve before midnight Mass and have a special dinner called "reveillon" (awakening) afterward. All groups seem to recognize Santa Claus as a most welcome bringer of gifts! Inspired by native materials and arts, Santa's cloak resembles birch bark combined with quillwork. He carries a basket painted with a bright red Canadian maple leaf. Inside the basket are mandarin oranges, whose arrival often symbolizes the start of the holiday season to many Canadians. This Ornament was designed/sculpted by Edythe Kegrize, Hallmark Keepsake Artist. Hallmark ornaments are not for children under the age of 8. CONDITION: This ornament is from my personal collection. I have collected Hallmark ornaments since the 80's. This box is in excellent condition. You are bidding on a mint ornament in an excellent box. T may be a scratch or two on the box - right off the Hallmark shelf. Price tag is intact. Please see pictures for actual conditon.
