Hallmark Marjolein Bastin Nature Sketchbook Birdhouse figural lamp. The birdhouse looks like an island hut with a thatch roof. The birds are very colorful and the birdhouse and base appear to be wooden but are actually made of resin. It is signed by the artist (impressed) "Marjolein Bastin" on the blue pencil and also are initials "MB" on the base and also on one of the other pencils. Measures 12-1/2" h to socket (16-3/4" including the cream color paper over plastic shade) x 5-1/4" diameter at the base (shade measures 11-1/8" d x 6-3/4" h). The lamp has been repaired - the tip of the paint brush and pencil were broken off and glued back on but if you look closely you can see the repair (looks like a crack - please see 3rd photo), otherwise, it is in very good condition. Marjolein Bastin, a Dutch artist, attended the Academy of Arts in Arnhem, The Netherlands.
