610 Grams, or 19.58 troy ounces, of Very Old Silver possibly older than the Victorian era, maybe of the colonial era. On the bottom are three vague identical hallmarks of an Winged Angle holding a sword in its left hand with what appears to be a scale in its right, and with a stork on one leg to its left. To the left of the stork is the letter L and beneath the feet of the Angle is another letter which look like the letter H, the rest is unintelligible. The piece is handmade of concentric circles, starting with a round plate on the bottom and then seven circles in succession building up the base, up to the rim. The hand hammered handles w applied in the process. Not including the handles, it is a little over 7 ¼ inches across and a little over 2 inches tall. It looks to be some kind of serving piece and is quite heavy, which probably accounts for its lack of any major denting. The bottom is bent in slightly in places, but the pieces sits soundly and does not rock. Hope you know the hallmark, it will give a clue to the age. Due to it's beautiful old patina the piece was not polished. Hope t is some historic significance to this piece, when found it was being employed as a dog food dish in a garage. Item will be shipped three weeks after I have received your payment. I will send out an invoice using ebay's e-mail invoicing system, after the winning bid, and payment must be received within ten days of that e-mail's sending. All items are shipped by the United States Postal service, to the address you have registered with ebay at the time of auction's end, so if you don't like that address, change it with ebay before you bid on this item. Every item is shipped with a tracking or confirmation number. The confirmation number will only indicate if a postal item has been accepted by the United States Postal Service, it is not a guarantee that a postal item will make it into your possession. When you make the winning bid on this auction you accept that number as your only recompense for the winning bid, and the auction item, or items, do not come into your possession. I will email a confirmation number to all winning bidders who indicate item has not come into their possession thirty one days after I received payment, item has been shipped, and it is requested by the winning bidder. For any other recompense you must pay extra for registered , restricted, and insured delivery, at time of payment. I do not provide insurance, but the United States Post Office does, and at your request I will purchase it for you at an extra cost. Extra charges for registered, restricted, and insurance are $24.35 for covering up to the first $100, $25.35 for covering $101 to $500, $26.35 for covering $501 to $1000, with an extra dollar added to each additional $1000 of coverage. With this type of coverage I will email a tracking number to you. When the United States Postal Service has investigated, and determined they lost, miss-shipped or, damaged the item, any insurance payment they send to me will be passed on to you minus any shipping, registered, restriction, and insurance charges.
