HAMILTON 21j GRADE 990 FANCY WHITE GOLD FILLED CASE Circa: 1909. Scarce Hamilton Railroad approved Grade. This 21 jewel model is a early production with the original fancy white gold case. This case is exceptionally fancy and has not been initialed. The 990 Grade features a unique starburst nickel pattern on the movement parimeter. This watch is like new and has all the original dial, case, and movement components. Especially scarce and collectible, this watch is clean, running and accurate. Although railroad grade, this Hamilton model was introduced for the gentleman who demanded both railroad accuracy and beauty. The best of both worlds. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME. DIAL: Mint whie porcelain double sunken dial with unique very fancy Arabic figures and original black spade hands. This dial is mint and is correct for this grade and is marked: "HAMILTON". Nice. MOVEMENT: 16 size, open face, 3/4 plate nickel, "Adjusted 5 Positions", lever set, "21 Jewels", unique starburst nickel damascening pattern on the outer portion of the plates, #1,132,636. Exceptionally clean, and original to the case. CASE: Screw back and bezel all original 14k white gold filled built by the Keystone Watch Case Co.. All bezels are hand engraved as well as the back patterns and fancy crest. Nice. read more
