Vintage Aircraft Chronograph designed in the World War II era Hamilton Watch Co. Mfrs. Part No. H-37500 Contract No: 96322Stock No. R88-C-573-11Mfrs. Ser. No. 014135 This precision aviation Chronograph was recently removed from a little used private aircraft. It is fully functional and keeps good time. Judging from the markings on the case, it may have been manufactured in 1949 and serviced in 1951. Functions: -24 hour clock (eight day movement) with separate dials (right and left) for seconds and calendar date -Elapsed timer, on lower 12 hour clock dial with mode indicator.-Stopwatch with sweep second hand and separate minutes dial (top) The Lower knob is used for winding, setting clock and/or elapsed timer, and controlling elapsed timer. The upper knob is pushed to start/stop/reset the stopwatch. Calendar date is changed by pressing the small recessed button to the left of the lower knob.
