HK 1 Thank you for your interest in this item Please find for auction here a Very collectable SILVER PENNY COIN This LONG CROSS PENNY was issued during the reign of KING HENRY III in the period 1248 to 1250. The coin features the Kings forward facing portrait on obverse with long cross and pellets design on reverse. Obverse reads 'hENRICVS REX TERCI' Reverse reads 'WILLEM ON WING. Identified as Class IIa. Winchester Mint. Moneyer Willem Coin retains some good detail on a fairly full flan. Please use these digital images provided to assess and grade the coin for yourselves.
