DESCRIPTION Offered is this superb Silver Hammered Groat of King Henry 8th dates c 1547 and is of the Posthumous issue. This coin has no mint mark and was minted in York. The later coinage of Henry 8th was very debased and as such is very difficult to find in good condition. This coin is one the best coins of this issue that I have seen. It is free from damage, has no clipping and the silver seems better quality than average for this issue. I would grade at VF. It is a beautiful coin but please s ee the detailed scan / photo of this item to determine condition for yourself.
