DESCRIPTION Offered is this superb and very rare Silver Hammered Groat of Philip and Mary. The coin dates from 1554. The Spink ref is 2508. This is a very rare coin and difficult to find in good condition or without damage. As seen in the pictures, this coin is in superb condition, portrait is first class. There is no evidence of clipping. This is a rare coin but please s ee the detailed scan / photo of this item to determine condition for yourself.
