Hammerman 18K y gold brooch / fur clip just absolutely magnificent tremblant free insured express shipping to US address US funds ONLY includes GIA appraisal which reads as follows: One 18 karat yellow gold Hammerman Brothers crafted tremblant floral design brooch with a 30 mm to 43 mm diameter by 17 mm thick Florentine finished five-petal mounted with four stipple leaves and a 36 mm long bark finished stem. Each pedal holds five round brilliant cut diamonds bead set in a white gold bar along the top of the outside edge and is connected underneath by a hinge system causing the petals to open and close in unison. The center of the brooch features sixteen round brilliant cut diamonds mounted in four-prong settings on top of rigid wires (nine of which are moveable) and the stem has one round brilliant cut diamond in a four prong setting. The twenty-five bead-set diamonds gauge as 1.7 to 1.88 mm in diameter each and the seventeen larger diamonds measure 2.5 to 2.6 mm in diameter each. The forty-two diamonds weigh an estimated 1 3/4 carats combined and are (VVS1-VS1) clarity and (E-F) color. The brooch is assembled of cast components and is stamped on the reverse he band 18k HB 279 and hand-marked OBD; it is in excellent condition, weighs 32.9 grams and likely dates to the 1960s. Estimated replacement cost: $7,800.00 According to information Hammerman so kindly furnished me this is style 54462 and dated the 1960s - unless it is a newer version which would have been manufactured 1995-1999 .
