Offered is this charming English china cup, saucer and tea plate made by Hammersley in a pattern called Lily of the Valley. This fine porcelain trio is decorated with small white flowers and green foliage. Flowers appear on the inside of the cup, as well as the outside. Gold trim decorates the handle of the cup and rim of each piece. The cup stands 2.75 inches high (7 cm) and measures about 3 inches in diameter (7.5 cm). It will hold 6 ounces of hot tea or coffee. The saucer measures 5 5/8 inches in diameter (14.3 cm). The plate measures 6 inches in diameter (15.3 cm). These pieces are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. Plate shows slight scratching due to service use. Gold trim in very good condition. In separate auctions we will be listing more pieces of this pattern – and some other items in Hammerslely china.
