Antique dinner plate - approximately 8 and a half inches in diameter, rises about 1 inch, and weighs 15.8 ounces. Decorated rim and eagle with outstretched wings in center. Eagle is on a shield with E Pluribus Unum on a ribbon under the shield. Makers mark is R. Hammersley with an eagle, the word GEM and several other letters on a diamond mark. See photos. Some glazing bumps on the back rim, and some blue runs on the front and back. No chips or cracks. Very nice condition for a plate that is over 150 years old according to my research. No reserve. Winning bidder will pay actual cost of priority mail.
