Hammond POSTAL TELEGRAPH 15" Clock Hammond Postal Telegraph 15" Clock. This one has rust freckles in 1/3 of the black paint...other 2/3's not as bad...a few but not many.The Chrome has rust freckles too but has a shine...probably will clean up considerably.The glass is in Fine shape.The face is in Very Fine Shape!The Face is 1 color & has a few tiny scratches from the hands (I guess) that you have to look for they are so light.I know it may appear to vary in color in the photos but does not...t is dirt/whatever on the inside of the glass & not on the paint.T is dirt on the inside of the glass.The hour & minute hands are disconnected & flop around...second hand does not flop.I can spin the hands with the "time set" knob but they always go to 6 when hanging properly.I did plug it in but the second hand did not turn with the start knob...I did hear it hum though & the knob seems to turn. The size is 4" Deep X 20" Diameter.Weight is 11 lbs. without the box.I just quick cleaned it & did NOT do a whole lot more...you can repaint it or whatever...good unit to start with.The Face is in Fine shape & I feel that is Most Important part.Box size is 25" X 31" X 5"...Packed weight is 15 lbs.
