HAMPDEN 21j SPECIAL RAILWAY TWO-TONE SALESMAN'S SAMPLE DISPLAY Circa: 1878. The colors on this movement are very bold and bright. This famous and very colorful early Railroad Model is displayed well for easy viewing in this salesmanÃ,Â's sample display case. This case has thick hard rock beveled crystals on both sides. The original fancy dial adds beauty and value to this unique grade and is therefore, very collectible. Clean, running and accurate. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. DIAL: Hunting Model single sunken white porcelain dial with yellow 18k gold leaf patterns; Roman figures and signed with the Hampden gold leaf Logo initials. A hairline exists at 4 oÃ,Â'clock which does not seem to distract. Very scarce original dial. MOVEMENT: 18 size, hunting model, lever set, Full Plate Nickel two-tone yellow and nickel pattern damascening, Ã,Â"21 JewelsÃ,Â", Ã,Â"AdjustedÃ,Â", gilt trimmed, Ã,Â"Special RailwayÃ,Â", #209,000. Bright colors, free of distraction. CASE: Screw back and bezel nickel/Silver SalesmanÃ,Â's Sample Display case with thick beveled crystals on both sides. Excellent condition.
