DESCRIPTION: A beautiful ancient Chinese green glazed pottery Hu wine jar, dating to the Han dynasty, circa 2,000 years ago. Note the crackle glaze with silvery iridescence. Decorated with incised bands. Size: 120mm High (4.8 inches) Condition: Some expected wear, degradation, minor losses, abrasions, and possible restoration, as a consequence of extended burial and subsequent cleaning. Please view images carefully. Dating: Han Dynasty (206 B.C to 220 A.D.) Comment: Kiln adhesions to rim and base of jar. This hu is a smaller version of the more recent ones we have listed on ebay.
