From the mid-1950s until 2005, Graham operated her old-school antiques business, Brass Bugle Antiques, from a well-patronized barn in Cornwall Bridge, Litchfield County, Connecticut. The building gained acclaim after it was chosen to be the subject of an artwork by Graham's close friend, the noted New England painter Eric Sloane (1905-1985). HANCOCK AND SHAW ENGLISH VICTORIAN IRONSTONE TUREEN TEA Item Description This is a nice lot of two antique English ironstone items, including an Anthony Shaw traditional teapot ca. 1860's, and a large covered vegetable tureen we believe by Sampson Hancock sporting the British registry diamond.ca. the 1880's. Each piece has issues as noted in the condition report, and the tureen shows general crazing. The teapot 8.5"l, 6"w, 9.5"h carries the mark shown as KAD # B2123 in Kowalsky, while the bowl's mark is difficult to see. It sits 12"l, 8"w, 7"h, and t is a combined weight of 7 lbs, 14 oz.
