INTRODUCTION Hello everyone! Thank you for taking the time toview my auction. My name is Daniel Kettle and I earned my BFA in Glass Forming from Emporia State University in 2005. I hope you enjoy color as much as I do… DESCRIPTION This original hand blown glass platter measures 16” x 15” x 3” and is signed/dated. The platter that is up for auction has a lagoon, white, and cobalt pattern throughout the inside. I used an optic mold and twisted the color in opposite directions to make the rippled color effect. We decided to make these platters round(ish) to see the intricacies of the color pattern better. All the platters that I make have a glass foot on the bottom. Platters can be used as a table arrangement or hung on the wall by the galvanized wire wrapped around the foot. Multiple platters can be hung to create your own masterpiece! PAYMENT AND SHIPPING We only accept PayPal at this time. Each piece will be packed in recyclable material, double boxed and shipped FedEx Smartpost to make sure it will reach its destination safely. I will ship to P.O. boxes now using USPS! We are currently only shipping to the lower 48 states but may expand our shipping range as our business grows.
