HAND CARVED EASTLAKE WALNUT FURNITURE PANEL FROM 1877 PUMP ORGAN - This is a spectacular hand carved panel from an 1877 Shoninger pump organ. It formed the music rest for the case. It speaks for itself and is really quite wonderful. It is constructed of solid Walnut with burled Walnut jewel accent panels. It would make a lovely decorator item above a mantel or hung on the wall as art. Work like this is not done these days because it is too time-consuming. I pale to imagine how many hours it would take to reproduce such detailed carving. The panel measures 38.5 inches by 11.5 inches. A matching organ top will also be offered in a separate auction in a few minutes. This item will be shipped UPS within the United States . International bidders please email for a quote.
