Wooden molds come in all sizes, shapes, and images created by the skilled hands of generations of folk carvers. They transformed simple wood blocks into a tremendous variety of three-dimensional visual delights. This is an exquisite hand carved basket just in time for Easter! Beautiful detail and hints of color from the various waxes. As you will see in the pictures, it shows of use, and has some medium scarrin. It measures 12" x 12" high x 8" wide. A very UNIQUE carving. Please feel free to ask any questions. I have it dated 1950-1969 but could be much earlier. This is NO RESERVE. Please note, shipping may seem a bit high, however these carvings are solid wood and quite heavy.
