Wonderful hand carved and painted wooden pin in the style of the Japanese Takahashi bird pins that were carved during the World War II internment camps. This one is unsigned, so I'm not sure who made it. This is a large bald eagle. I purchased this out of a very old Victorian estate. I guarantee it's old and authentic. No cracks, chips or damage. The detail and artisanship are astounding and it's wonderfully done, obviously by somebody with great talent. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS UNDERNEATH GALLERY PHOTO.
