Sword Smith Hand Made Hammer Forge Folded Highlander Dragon Japanese Katana Sword. This sword is Full Tang and Fully Functional. Blade was hand forge/folded out of 1050 Carbon Steel, Heat Tempered, Quenched, and Differentially Hardened to 40/60 with slight variations. Blade is sharp but not sharpened to the cutting standard. This sword has no blood grooves, which leaves the blade heavier but also much sturdier because t was no forged steel taken out. The blade is very sleek and extremely gorgeous. Habaki is SILVER on this one. This sword was purchased a couple years back and as far as I know t are no more of them available because they were made in limited numbers. The faux ivory Dragon handle is extremely well detailed with warriors on and off horseback wielding the weapons of old. End of handle is extremely detailed with the well known Highlander Dragon. Silver Tsuba features a Dragon wrapped around in a circular style. Blade Type: Shinogi-Zukuri style blade. Nagasa (blade length): 28 inches, measured from Tsuba to Kissaki. Hamon: Medium Wave. Kissaki: Chu, meaning medium length tip. Tsuka: 12.5 Inches, measured from Tsuba to Dragons Chin. Tsuba: Metal. Shape: Round. Description: Wrapping Dragon. Mei: Signed by Sword Smith. Sageo: Black Cotton. Saya: Black, Wood, & Lacquered. Comments: Hand Forge Folded 1050 Carbon Steel. Heat Tempered & Quenched. Differentially hardened to 40/60 with slight variations. You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase this weapon. It is your responsibility to know all laws regarding this type of weapon.
