You Are Bidding On A Brand New Musashi Forge HAND FORGED SAMURAI KATANA SWORD WITH MOTHER OF PEARL INLAY On The Scabbard Plus Free Stand, Cleaning Kit, Display Box, And Sword Bag These swords are made in very limited quantities by the leading Musashi Forge swordsmith Sam Sung. The sword in this auction has a razor sharp heat tempered blade and can be used for tameshigiri (cutting exercises) and Iaido. The blade is traditionally hand forged and tempered high carbon steel with beautiful hand hammered etching on both sides. Mother of pearl inlay on both sides of the scabbard is simply stunning. Pictures simply do not do it justice. Certificate of authenticity with sword specs, master's name, and serial number is included. The sword can be disassembled for cleaning, but since it is made to much higher standards than cheaper hand forged swords (blade fits *very* snug inside the handle), I would highly recommend taking this sword to a sword shop and letting a professional disassemble it rather than doing it at home.
