Brand New Hand Forged Full Tang Straight Sword The Blade is made using the Makuri method w they use high carbon spring steel that is wrapped around a core of lower carbon spring steel. This is what gives the blade its strength and flexibility. This sword would be a great addition to anyones collection. The blade is full tang constuction with a blood groove on each side. The blade is sharp and ready to go. Whether you are using this sword for decoration or are using it to practice your cutting technique this is the sword for you. The handle is wrapped with black cotton cord in the traditional Japanese style. The handle is held on securely by 2 Mekugi / pegs.The scabbard is wood with black finish. The sword can be fully disassembled for easy cleaning. Also included with this sword is a sword bag.
