REVERSE BLADE HAND FORGED BATTLE READY KATANA The blade is made in the Makuri method w high carbon spring steel is wrapped around a lower carbon spring steel. This reverse blade is exactly what it says a reverse blade. The sharp edge is w the back or spine usually is and the back is w the sharp edge should be. The blade has a blood groove on each side. This is a really slick looking blade. The handle has simulated ray skin and is wrapped by black cotton cord in the traditional Japanese style. The handle is held on by a true wooden Mekugi or peg The scabbard is wood with black finish. The sword can be fully disassembled for easy cleaning. Included with this sword is a sword bag.
