This handmade BMW vintage bike is a very rare find for the US collector. This bike is the French "Gendarmerie" police reproduction of the sidecar cycle produced by BMW from 1960 to 1969. It was renowned for its reliability, solid engineering, durability and shaft-drive. This bike features a sidecar with spare very detailed 500cc opposed (sideways mount) boxer engine with twin exhaust sidepipes, double seat, BMW logos (on gas tank, wheel hubcaps with knock-offs, spare and sidecar) and pinstripes; great detail throughout. A must for Francophiles and BMW fans. Produced from wire, light metal with custom paint and unique tools with great details, it displays wonderfully on a shelf or bookcase. This is not a model but a rolling sculpture that you will be proud to display at home or office. This motorcycle model is at the top of the line because of its size, special features and details.
