Beautiful Handmade Quilt c.1940 ? 88" x 88" The quilt was hand made by my Great Grandmother in Minneapolis MN. Unfortunately that is really all I know about this quilt. I am guessing it was made in the late 40's but not 100% sure about the year. I am making this guess based on what I have learned from other family members . It is in good condition with a few small stains, mostly around the outside edge, please view pictures. All stitching appears to be in good condition, I haven't observed any loose threads. The base color of the quilt is white, but there are a few squares that have a more vanilla tone to them, the vanilla toned squares are around the outside edge and there is not a huge difference in color. There is a picture showing this as well. The underside is a solid blue color.
