This auction features a custom hand painted Grey Knight Grand Master another great miniature from the Games Workshop Warhammer 40k line. This 28mm figure was painted by James Wappel. It was painted with Vallejo, Citadel and Reaper acrylics over CITADEL white primer, and sealed with 2 coats of TESTORS Dullcote varnish. A scratch sculpted decorative base was used to create theme for this figure. This figure is a heavily converted Marneus Calgar space marine. He is wielding a nemesis force weapon, which can instantly kill pesky demon princes and other nasty Chaos characters.. It is also heavy enough to damage Rhinos and other lightly armored vehicles. A grand master with a retinue of terminators will make your Demonhunter army a force to be reckoned with against many other amries as well. This miniature was painted with meticulous detail as can be seen in the photos below . All metal surfaces were rendered using the NMM technique. This figure is ideal for wargaming in the Warhammer 40,000 rules system, or for display. Each figure painted by James Wappel is signed and numbered on the underside of the base. James is a miniature painting instructor at Adepticon in Chicago, and also paints for several miniature companies.
