Through my research on eBay of active and completed listings I have not seen a bowl shape or exterior design like this one. This is such a lovely handpainted interior of pinks and light reds of the beautiful roses. The background is a light gold blended with pink and green around the rose bunch. The bowl is 7 1/4" wide at the widest of the three pinched in areas. It stands 3" tall and is edged at the rim in gold and also at the outside base. The exterior is decorated in a style that is so unusual for the time frame of 1911 to 1921 that this Noritake mark indicates. It has a very contemporary design to the outside was the inside is so traditional and expected. See the pictures to see what I am describing. So unusual. T are shades of blue fading into green with accents of red. Very beautiful and very little wear to the gold. T are no nicks, chips, cracks or repairs. NO flea bites either. Please contact me with any questions prior to bidding. HAPPY SHOPPING!
