Offered is this charming fine porcelain china nut bowl, hand painted in Japan by Noritake. The octagonal bowl features molded-in-relief figures of walnuts in the bottom. The nuts have a matte finish while the rest of the bowl has a glossy golden brown glaze. The nuts rest on a bed of painted autumn leaves in ivory, taupe, brown and blue. The dish has two tab handles. This piece dates to the 1920s. It measures 7.75 inches in diameter (19.5 cm) and stands about 3 inches tall (7.5 cm). Very good condition for its years. No chips or cracks.
