Really beautiful rectangular paper mache tray with slightly rounded corners and sides. Handpainted delicate cluster of varied flowers in the center. Primary colors are a warm butterscotch yellow, a deep red and brown border. Flowers are pastel blue, peach, and olive green. Gilt has been applied to the edges. Very pretty and gay. Raised, curved edges. No marks are visible, apparently rubbed off. An embossed flower is present on the back. Dimensions: 14 inches wide by 12 inches high Condition: Quite good. Some crackling to the paint. Some wear to the edges. However, largely the hand-painted design is intact. A lovely colorful tray. Good for another 100 years.
