Welcome to my auction. I am an artist and avid gardener living in a beautiful part of Pennsylvania known as Chester County. I love painting old world and European themes with an occasional piece of folk art. Unless noted otherwise, all pieces are vintage/antique items, some of which I have refurbished. This is a vintage chippendale tray measuring approximately 19" x 15". I have repainted it black with a European landscape of a pheasant woman coming home from market . Her basket is filled with autumn's harvest. My palette consisted mainly of brown, orange, yellow and green. The border of the tray is painted with pomegranates and pears. Gold metallic paint was used for the scroll work, cross hatching and accent trim. The tray has been heavily antiqued, signed and sealed with a satin finish. ("European Autumn Harvest")
