This is a 130 page publication put out by International Society of Antique Scale Collectors in January 1984. Put together by Michael A. Crawforth. The index shows the types of scales referred to in the booklet including equal arm bram scales, steelyard scales, spring balances, robervales, beranger and phanzeder, bismar group, pendulum or inclination balances, rocker balancers, platform scales, miscellaneous scales and weights. T is a glossary of terms a dictionary and a language index in numerous languages. Also, information on patents and patent numbers. T are hundreds or diagrams or illustrations with descriptions and information on each scale shown. A great research tool. The booklet had a soft cover and is bound together with plastic on each side, with prongs that go through to the other side. On the front, a small piece of the plastic on the top, no more than an inch, is missing. Other than that, the booklet is complete, unmarked and hardly used. PayPal can be used.
