Handcarved antique treen spoon~incised bird/peafowl?

This is truly a beautiful and early handcarved treen spoon that has wonderful incised decoration--it could perhaps have been a wedding gift or presentation item. I also think it could possibly be Pa. Dutch origin and the incised bird on the bowl is possibly a peafowl, but I don't know this for sure. Besides the bird t is also a leaf and lines all around the bowl and a bit more decoration at the end of the handle. T is also a touch of carved decoration at about the center of the handle and at the tip. The spoon has of course darkened with much age but most of the incising is still visible to the eye but a magnifying glass does help. The bowl of the spoon is 3" long--nearly as long as the handle which is 3 7/8" long. Now you are going to think this crazy but the overall length is only 6 5/8" which is not as much as the sum of the two parts. If you hold the bowl of the spoon down level, the handle has a huge "tilt" to it and from the tip of the handle to the end of the bowl it just does not measure as much as the handle and bowl separately. T is no damage to the spoon--just some wonderful character marks, a bit of honest wear and a gorgeous patina that it has taken considerably over a century to obtain. T are pictures to enlarge that will show you all about this super neat item so please check them out carefully. Insurance is optional but I am not responsible for uninsured items that are damaged or lost in transit. It is very lightweight so will ship First Class. My return policy and checkout instructions are listed below so please take a moment to read them. Emails are welcome and I thank you for looking.
