This lovely angel can trumpet in the holidays or be a year-around companion. S/he doesn't even have to be an angel; the wings are removable, as is the trumpet. The body and base have been oiled, while the wings have the slightest hint of gold. The piece stands 29 inches from the base to the top of the head; the wings add about 6 inches. The wing span is 25 inches and the piece is 12 inches from the elbow to the extended fingers. The base is 9.5 inches. The tag read: "This wooden Angel is individually handcarved by Artisans from a carving village up North of the Philippines. Carved out of solid aged and sundried mango wood, this wooden Angel may have slight cracks and color variations which is natural characteristic of the wood adding beauty and character to this piece of art. After sanding, this piece is rubbed with natural linseed oil to bring out its natural sheen. For care wax regularly with ordinary furniture wax to keep its weathered look.
