This is Americana or Hobo Art, as it's sometimes called, at it's best. The man is 12" tall with a long coat, hat, cigar & bow tie. Looks like He just stepped out of the 20's. Hands in His pockets. His Hound Dog is staring up at Him, with adoration in His eyes. Also, He will move a little. The base they are on is a 7" circle of wood. On the btm. is Wright's Mark. Hand crafted, wood carving. Each carving is unique in design. Created in Harmony,with the natural grain pattern found in the wood. Weight's about 2 lb at the most. A VERY SPECIAL PIECE. Artist is a member of S.C.Crafts Guild.
