This is a very rare, original and authentic Handel boudoir table lamp featuring a reverse painted shade #6699. The first thing I need to disclose is that it is NOT in perfect condition - the shade has been repaired many years ago...professionally according to the lamp's former owner. T are two places w this repair can be spotted from close up only on one side of the shade. T is a 11 1/2" circular section that appears as a hairline and another line nearbye that runs vertically from the top to the bottom edge. T is also a small interior chip in the same area. The repaired areas have clearly been treated and stabalized and this can be clearly seen from the inside. None of this can be seen or detected from any distance and is even pretty hard to detect even from close up. The repaired side can be turned to the rear but t is no particular need to do that because it is so hard to see anyway. The shade itself measures 7" wide x about 4" high. The lamp measures 14 1/4" high with the shade in place. Both the base and the shade are signed "Handel" and the shade is also has the number 6699 beside the name on the inside edge. It appears to have it's original acorn pull chain. I'm not really certain if the painted light socket is original or not. Still a nice....and extremely rare original and authentic Handel Boudoir lamp.
