This auction is for a 1-1/2" Handmade Belt Buckle and Keeper by D.C. Lance of Amarillo, TX. The buckle is made from 14 ga. steel and mounted with nickel silver. The opening is actually 1-9/16" wide to ensure that a true 1-1/2" belt will fit without any problems. The keeper is also oversized by a 1/16". The bar for the tongue is 5/32" steel rod and the tongue is 1/8" steel rod. I flatten the tongue that is bent around the bar to better keep the tongue stable. The bronc rider looks like t is fixin to be a big wreck. The ears of the buckle are mounted with a flowing design and engraved with a scroll motif. I take quite a bit of pride in the fact that t are no sharp edges on my buckles and this one is no exception. I did not mount the keeper. If the buyer wants their initials (up to three) or a brand I will mount and engrave it as a part of this auction. This does not delay the buyer receiving the buckle promptly if they let me know what to put on the keeper as soon as possible.I make custom buckles, spurs, and other cowboy gear at my shop in Amarillo .
