Up for sale is another beautiful new handmade Amish quilt from Lancaster County, PA. This quilt is so eyecatching in the Mini Compass pattern. The warm tones are just right against the lightest cream background! The compasses, modeled after the Mariners Compass, are in varying shades of brown from dark chocolate to coffee with cream in solids and prints that have the suggestion of rose, slate blue, mauve and wheat. The triangle areas opposing the compasses have little leaf type flowers appliqued in complimentary tones with embroidered stems. T are little pinwheels quilted on the corners of the body and t are lovely featd patterns quilted all around the compasses. T is a matching appliqued leafy flower border all around the edges of the piece. This will make such a remarkable addition to any room. The edges are gently scalloped and the piece is bound in dark brown. This quilt is a VERY generous size, measuring approximately 115 inches by 105 inches Wide. It is pictured on a pillowtop Queen and hangs almost to the floor. It will hang longer on a standard Queen and might be suited to a king size bed with a dust ruffle, but as always, please measure before you buy.
