All Handmade By HURLEY Hughes of NE Oklahoma . Maker marked, numbered and dated! If this ain't a 'fancy' pair of spurs I'll eat my hat! With the big rowels and curled back chap guards, these things sure got the 'Cowboy' look. I would really rather see these spurs hangin' off the heal of some cowboy's boots but the truth is, you collectors better take a real close at these. They are an original design... 'one of a kind' numbered and dated by the maker and the chances of another pair like these ever being made again is pretty darn slim.

But... If you want perfect, don't bother bidding on these spurs because they are cowboy made and you will find that they have some hammer and and forge marks in places. Please understand, these are certainly some nice spurs but they were not stamped out by some machine and put in a tumbler for a perfect finish. Look the photos over carefully!

Each spur is sporting 16 pieces of hand cut / engraved silver, copper and brass. The bands are 1-1/4 inch wide with the edges beveled. The shanks are about 2-1/2 inches long with 2 inch 20 point rowels. These rowels are hand filed and finished down smooth then heat treated so that they 'talk when you walk'. These rowels are also stamped by the maker, HURLEY and dated 07.
