Spring is always a busy baby season - there seem to be so very many spring babies based on the birthdays I have on my calendar (including my own!) so I have made a few diaper backpacks and this one is a Super Deluxe!

This backpack is made with chenille: sage green, lavender, cream, shell pink and one vintage in palest pink dots. The chenille is combined with a vintage floral fabric which features all of the above colors. Then there is a sturdy twill with pale green roses to form the back of the flap and the adjustable shoulder straps.

There are 2 very large front exterior pockets which are made up of a patchwork of fabric whose seams have been given the fuzzy rag treatment (snip the seams then throw the bag in the washer and dryer). This means that your bag has a fabulous squashy puckered look already and is completely wash-able! These two pockets are deep and can hold pretty much anything and securely - notice that they are deep and that the flaps covers them to keep everything safe.

The flap has a completely lined pocket too - keep your wallet, keys, cell phone in there if you like - the zipper has a pink ribbon decorated with a sweet pacifier trinket. If this will not be a diaper bag let me know and I'll add beads instead. The back of this backpack has another huge pocket which has an elastic top to ensure nothing slips out. Keep soft things like diapers or flat items like passports so that nothing pokes you in the back. There is a yummy pink drawstring to keep the main portion of the bag closed and inside is lined in a lavender and pale green floral cotton. There is a panel of 4 generous wrap-around pockets inside - this is one very organized bag with pockets in every place available for a pocket.
