BOXWOOD CONTROL KNOB We have received numerous requests from customers for a wooden knob to match guitars with maple necks, tops, fingerboards, binding etc. After some experimentation we have found that boxwood is a great substitute for maple having similar colour, density and grain structure. Boxwood has been used for many years for manufacturing musicial instrument parts such as violin tailpieces, chinrests and friction pegs and is the main wood used in the making of quality chess pieces. These handmade knobs are ideal for custom builds, or adding an extra touch of class to any fine instrument. The knob has a brass insert which will accept potentiometer shafts up to 1/4inch (6.35mm) The knob is secured to the the shaft via a miniature Allen bolt. Suitable for solid and spline shafts Telecaster-style profile - height 1.60cm, diameter 2.00cm - with 2 rubber O-rings which provide a positive non-slip grip - Sold as single pieces Now also available in rosewood, ebony, tigerwood and buffalo horn - see additional listing s
