New hand made, hand cut, pancake style leather cross draw knife sheath made from 7/8 oz. veg-tan leather. This sheath is basket stamped by hand. Made for a right hander but it could also be used as a behind your back sheath for a left hander. T he knife edge slides on the leather plug when sliding the knife in or out of the sheath & not on the hand stitched waxed thread. The front, back & plug are glued & hand stitched together with waxed thread. The wax helps protect the thread from rot. All stitching holes are stabbed 1 at a time by hand with an awl, 6 stitching holes per inch. The stitching is laid in a stitching groove on the front of the sheath that helps protect the stitching from wear. Sheath is dyed range tan & has a Tan-kote finish. Edges are beveled, hand rubbed & dyed black for a nice professional finished look. Sheath measurements are 5 1/2" long & 3 1/8" wide. Oiled & ready for use. This sheath is built to last, is maker stamped & Made in the USA. Includes a new Steel Warrior Coon Hunter fixed blade skinning knife, model # SW-101ASC. Autumn Second Cut imported bone handles. High quality 440 polished stainless steel blade, tested 56 to 58 Rockwell hardness. Nickle silver bolsters, brass pins & liners. Knife measurements are 6" over all length with 2 3/4 " blade length & 3 1/4" handle length. 1/8" blade thickness. Fits
